Our Story

2012

Livmor's Roots

In 2012, Scott Reid, co-founder of Alignment Healthcare (NASDAQ: ALHC), identified a critical challenge in the Medicare industry. With over 65 million seniors relying on Medicare, agents were overwhelmed by fragmented data from more than 500 carriers and a constantly shifting regulatory landscape. The process was inefficient, and despite the growing senior population, only 10% of those on Medicare said their plans adequately met their healthcare needs.

This highlighted a more profound and impactful problem: seniors were most often enrolled in healthcare plans that didn’t align with their specific coverage needs.

2023

Livmor is Born

Recognizing the need for change, Scott founded Livmor in 2023 to solve this problem. Livmor was born from a deep commitment to transforming senior care through the power of innovation, technology, and compassion. Recognizing the complexities of the Medicare system, Livmor set out to simplify the process with cutting-edge AI, empowering seniors to make informed decisions and access the care they deserve. With a clear and unified vision, Livmor is revolutionizing healthcare for seniors, improving coverage, outcomes, and overall well-being to help them lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

2023-
2024

Building and Growth

Throughout late ‘23 and early ‘24, Livmor prototyped products and tested ideas with the help of tech partners and service providers. In August 2024, Livmor's founding team appointed David Kohel as CEO and Leah Puccio as President and COO. They were tasked with advancing the founding vision and bringing Livmor's mission and products to life.

2025

Platform and Products

Today, Livmor is the first AI-driven, FMO-neutral, intelligent Medicare platform. It leverages AI and large language models (LLMs) to analyze and consolidate millions of pages of Medicare data in minutes, equipping brokers and agents with better tools for providing personalized, accurate, and efficient plan recommendations to seniors. Through real-time data and personalized plan recommendations, Livmor optimizes the whole Medicare experience, making Medicare more accessible for seniors, agents, and carriers alike.

How We Approach AI

  • We present all available plans based on your specific needs.

  • Just like Medicare.gov, but with more complete data and the power of AI.

Built-In Safeguards

  • Our AI combines conversational search with traditional interfaces.

  • Our structured approach minimizes bias and prevents “hallucinations”.

  • Continuous monitoring ensures accuracy and reliability.
